I believe that every child is a seed, and relationships are the soil in which they flourish. I see care as looking beyond the symptom. I seek in the child what they can become, not only what causes concern.

I am a resident physician in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with professional license number 71670 from the Portuguese Medical Board. I practice clinically in both public settings at Hospital Dona Estefânia and in private practice.

I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents and Families through “DBT SKILLS for Adolescents & Families” by Psychwire, and in Ludo-Therapy through the course “Play Therapy: Therapeutic Play” by ReConstruir. I have completed training in facilitating parent psychoeducation groups through the program “The Incredible Years”, and I am currently undertaking training in Systemic and Family Intervention through the Portuguese Society of Family Therapy.

I am a member of the National Association of Residents in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where I serve on the Educational and Research Department.

I work with a wide range of issues, from infancy to adulthood, always seeking an

integrative approach and careful clinical observation of the child and their environment.
