I work with people, attachments, and emotions from a systemic perspective that values relationships, intimacy, and the body, while recognizing the transformative potential each person carries within. I have a particular interest in couple relationships and sexuality, especially in the field of sexual desire.
I believe in the power of teamwork, where different perspectives come together to address the complexity of human experience.
I am a psychologist and psychotherapist, specialized in Clinical and Health Psychology as well as Psychotherapy, accredited by the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association
(professional license no. 7464).
I am a member of the Portuguese Society for Family Therapy (SPTF), where I currently provide training and supervision and serve as a board member. I also hold advanced
training in Clinical Sexology from the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology (SPSC). In this field, I am particularly interested in themes such as desire, couple sexuality, and the development of sexuality across the lifespan. My practice in sexology is guided by the creation of a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for the LGBTQI+ community.
I am the Clinical Director of SPES – Health, Psychotherapy, Education, and Sexology, where I coordinate the team and work clinically with adolescents, adults, and couples. My professional path has been mainly in private practice, with additional experience in school settings.
My main areas of focus are Psychotherapy, Couple Therapy, and Clinical Sexology, which I integrate in a connected and holistic way to foster a broad understanding of individual, relational, and sexual dynamics.
