Childhood is like the skeleton of a tree: it's the structure upon which life is built. Helping each child grow with security, balance, and emotional resources is investing not only in their present well-being but also in their mental health throughout life.

I am a resident physician in Child Psychiatry, with professional license number 74076 from the Portuguese Medical Association. I practice in a public setting, at Dona Estefânia Hospital, and in a private setting. I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents and Families, through the "DBT Skills for Adolescents & Families" program from Psychwire, as well as in Play Therapy, through the "Play Therapy: Therapeutic Play" course from ReConstruir. I have also completed training in facilitating parental psychoeducation groups through the "The Incredible Years" program.

I work with babies, children, and adolescents, seeking to adopt an integrative approach and careful clinical observation of the child and the context in which they are embedded.
